From a Chance Moment to 26 Years of Guiding Financial Futures

I’ve been a financial advisor since 1999, but my journey started in a place most people wouldn’t expect, the rec center at Eastern Michigan University. I was flipping through Success magazine, trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I wasn’t going to be a doctor or an architect, but I wanted a career where I could genuinely help people. I saw an ad for a College for Financial Planning program, and something clicked. That moment set the direction for the next 26 years.

I began my career with American Express, learning the foundations of financial planning and building a deep appreciation for what it means to serve clients well. Today, I’m an independent advisor and a founder of Veritas Wealth Planning, where I guide individuals and families toward clarity, confidence, and long-term financial success.

Outside of work, I’m a dad to a wonderful daughter and three energetic puppies who keep life fun and full. I love watching football, reading, and spending quality time with my family.

Helping people build secure, meaningful financial futures is more than a career for me, it’s the path that found me all those years ago at the rec center, and it’s still what drives me every day.

Little about us as a team, we met at MassMutual in 2016, and somehow we clicked and stayed friends, even when our paths, went separate ways for few years during covid, I joined Bill and dan in 2021, and they joined ARHQ in 2019. We’ve been working closely together since 2021 and now we are forming Veritas.
